 Access Node Module

The Direct Grid AN Module is a stand alone device that communicates with all grid-tied DGA micro-inverters through existing power lines using Echelon protocol. Individual PV panel information is transmitted via USB or wireless LAN connection to a host computer where end users track and manage performance of their photovoltaic system using Direct Grid’s WattTrack™ software.

Plugged into any 120VAC outlet, the AN Module quickly recognizes each PV panel identified on the network and begins the registration process, making theft protection one of it’s first duties. If stolen, the AN Module and DGA-S SMART system disables the PV module and marks it accordingly.

Statistics show that consumers who watch their consumption tend to save 10-15% on their bills. The AN Module serves this purpose.
